It is illegal for any retailer to sell electronic cigarettes and vaping products which contain or which can be used to deliver nicotine, to any individual who is under the age of 18. You must, therefore, be at least 18 years of age to place an order with vapekit.co.uk.

Since 1st October 2015, we have been required by law to verify the age of any new customers who purchase vaping products from our site. By completing your order, you are confirming that you permit us to verify your age. Your order will only be despatched upon completion of the verification process.

How do we Verify Your Age?

When you place an order or create an account with vapekit.co.uk, you will be required to enter your full name, your billing address and your date of birth. You should enter this information accurately and as it appears on your driver’s licence, your entry on the electoral roll or in the personal details you have given to your bank or credit card provider.

The information you supply will be checked by ID3global, an industry recognised age verification service. The process is an ID check and not a credit check. If you have signed up to a credit reporting service, such as Experian, you may receive a notification that a check has been made against your credit record. However, any check conducted by an age verification service will not impact your credit score in any way.

What happens if we can’t verify your age?

We cannot despatch your order until your age has been verified. It may not be possible to verify your age using the details you have provided. This could be because you have recently changed your name or address. Issues could also arise if you have accidentally entered your details incorrectly. In these circumstances, we will contact you to request additional information. This could be your driver number which appears on your driver’s licence or the code at the bottom of your passport.

If it is still not possible to verify your age, you will be asked to forward a scan or photograph of an appropriate and valid ID. This will enable a member of our team to verify your age manually.

How is your personal data handled?

Our age verification service provider will not use your personal data for any purpose other than to confirm your age. They will not save, log or store your data. If you are required to forward a copy of your ID to us, it will remain on our system only until the age verification process has been completed.

Will we verify your age each time you place an order?

Once we have verified your age, we will not need to conduct the verification process again. Our system will be updated to show that your age has been verified.
