You may not be familiar with the concept of a so called big puff vape or the BM6000 in particular. Big puff vapes feature both a prefilled pod and a refill container. First Set Up of the BM6000

We found that setting up the BM6000 pod kit is easy. Simply remove all the packaging, peel off the instructions sticker, remove the silicone tag from both the pod and mouthpiece, then insert the refill. Hold the device upside down to remove any air bubbles and then inhale on the mouthpiece.

What about Flavour Performance?

At the time of writing, there are 37 flavours to choose from. We will save you from a lengthy review of the entire collection! Suffice it to say, you will find flavour profiles that you like amongst the fruit, menthol, drink and candy blends. Flavour intensity is generally very good thanks to the QUAQ mesh coils.

To test the Lost Mary BM6000, we did try several flavours from the range and would like to highlight the following options:

Strawberry Ice

Boasting authentic fruity flavour and less of a candy feel than many similar flavours, Strawberry Ice impressed us. It's fresh and fruity, just sweet enough and offers mildly cooling exhales. We couldn't find anything not to like here.

Menthol

This one truly does what it says on the tin. It's uber refreshing and delivers really quite intense flavour featuring both spearmint and peppermint notes. It's chilly too and a great palate cleanser. BM6000 Menthol is a minty treat.

Fizzy Cherry

We are suitably impressed with every cherry flavour in the collection but this one really stands out. Truly tasty cherry notes are backed by sherbety fizz to lend both sweetness and pizazz to the juice. This one will likely put a smile on your face.

It is worth noting that a major benefit of prefilled pods is the ability to switch flavours when you wish, even if there's juice left in a pod and refill. Of course, when you remove a refill container from the device, it will be open. But you can use the silicone plug supplied with a replacement pod and refill to seal the container, then store it for future use.

Battery and Charging

Few surprises here! The 1000mAh battery provides several hour of vaping. Courtesy of USB-C charging, it can be fully recharged in one hour. The charging cable required is not included with the kit and must be purchased separately.

Build Quality and Design

There's no doubt that the Lost Mary boasts a funky look. The kits are available in a variety of flavours, and each flavour of kit is a different colour. You can bring a rainbow into your vaping life! However, the potential downside here is that if you switch flavours when you purchase a replacemet pod, the new pod and refill won't match the kit.

We found no issues with the build quality of the BM6000. It gives you exactly what you would expect for what is basically a replacement for a disposable big puff vape.

Pods: Ease of Replacement and Value

We found that this kit was slighlty let down by having to give the pod a good yank to remove it. This certainly isn't a deal breaker but you should be prepared for the issue and preferably have a latex glove or cloth to hand to give you greater grip. In terms of value, it would be hard to complain about BM6000 replacement pod and refill sets. You will pay as little as £5.99 for a set using our multibuy deals and that gets you 12ml of e-liquid together with the convenience of prefilled pods. It has to be said that the value offered by BM6000 pods doesn't match that of vaping with a refillable device loaded with Lost Mary e-liquids which are avilable in the same flavours as the pods. But if you favour the prefilled route you will be satisfied with the value you receive. 6,000 puffs is a significant return for £5.99.

Is the Lost Mary BM6000 Right For You?

As this device is essentially a replacement for the Lost Mary disposable and is very similar, albeit a little larger, it best suits vapers who preferred to vape with disposables prior to these devices being banned in the UK.

BM6000s would also be excellent choices if you are a beginner thanks to their ease of use and choice of flavours. In addition, a BM6000 would be a great option as a backup device for any MTL vaper.

While the device is user-friendly, you may experiece issues using your BM6000:

Lost Mary BM6000 Not Working

If your Lost Mary BM6000 isn't working, the most likely causes are incorrect setup, a low battery, or a poor pod connection. Ensure that you have removed all protective stickers and plugs and that you have charged the device. The pod and refill should be inserted until you experience a click. It is essential to turn the device upside down for at least 10 seconds to prime the coil before use.

Check the battery level of the device. Look for any stickers and plugs that have been left in error. Reseat the pod and check that airflow holes are not blocked.

Lost Mary BM6000 Burnt Taste

Are you asking why my BM6000 tastes burnt? Those burnt hits are caused by dry coil wicking burning when you fire the device. Wicking can dry out if you haven't primed the pod or if you chain vape, leaving too little time between puffs for the wicking to absorb e-liquid. Burnt hits are also a sign that you have run out of juice.

You can avoid burnt hits by always priming your pod before use and allowing at least 30 seconds between puffs. It's best to replace pods before they are completely empty.

Lost Mary BM6000 Not Charging

If your Lost Mary BM6000 is not charging there may be debris in the charging port that is preventing a connection being established. It is also possible that your charging cable is faulty or that your device is too hot.

To solve the issue, begin by checking that your device isn't hot. if it, is, leave it to cool down. For cool devices, clear the charging port of debris and then blow into it. If that doesn't work, try another charging cable or charging point.

Our Final Verdict

We found the Lost Mary BM6000 to be a user-friendly and rather snazzy pod vape kit that offers exceptional convenience. It's sufficiently compact to be pocket-friendly and the broad range of flavours ensures that there is something to suit all tastes. We have to say that some of the flavours are better than others, but we could make the same comment about any collection. The main downside of the device is the tight fitting of the pods that makes them tricky to pull out. That aside, it's hard to criticize the BM6000 which compares favourably to other big puff kits.
