Vapekit boasts a small, dedicated team operating from a modern warehouse in Sutton, Surrey. The business is led by Managing Director, Guy Lawler, a veteran of numerous internet businesses having launched his first online venture in 1999. Guy, like many in the vape industry, got involved having finally managed to quit smoking. This was with the help of a Kanger Top Evod (remember those?) and Ice Menthol by Vampire Vape. Like so many others, he had tried every quitting method there was - gum, patches, sprays, self-help books etc – none worked.

Seeing the tremendous potential to help free people from the clutches of the Big Tobacco companies, Guy came on board to spread the word and, hopefully, help others to quit. When you first hear the statistic that 50% of smokers will die of a smoking-related illness, that figure really hits home. Imagine, if you went to work every morning, knowing that your efforts would contribute to the death of half of your customers! Pretty chilling stuff.

Incidentally, Guy no longer vapes as he doesn’t feel the need. Some people see that as a poor advert for the products we sell, but we see it as quite the opposite. The whole point of vaping is to break the cycle of dependence on cigarettes - which all smokers know is incredibly hard to do. If you can use vaping as an effective means to quit smoking, you can then gradually reduce your nicotine strength over time. Eventually, you just don’t feel like you need a hit anymore. This sounds like a pretty perfect outcome to us.
