Vapekit started life in 2014 as Tekcig and originally focused on importing vaping equipment from China. Over the next couple of years, the business changed its focus (and name from Tekcig to Vapester) with the aim of becoming a leading online supplier of all vaping supplies. We wanted to provide UK vapers with great service, amazing choice and the best products at reasonable prices.
In 2020 we felt that a snappier brand name was in order, so we changed our name once again, to Vapekit.co.uk. Thus far, the customer feedback we have received regarding our new branding has been very positive.
We are proud to be a member of both of the UK's main vape trade associations, UKVIA and the Independent British Vape Trade Association (IBVTA). Both organisations are devoted to harm reduction and promoting a responsible vape industry, enabling millions to quit smoking for good. The press hasn’t been particularly kind to the vaping sector in recent years, especially during 2019 (good news stories don't sell newspapers). As a result of fake news and misinformation, many smokers now think that vaping is more dangerous than smoking. However, Public Health England have gone on the record to state that “the current best estimate is that e-cigarettes are around 95% less harmful than smoking”. UKVIA and the IBVTA are doing their best to combat these negative perceptions of vaping and we applaud their efforts.

We understand that there are aspects of the TPD which can be irksome, such as being limited to 2ml tanks. But on the bright side, the protections provided by the TPD have helped to prevent vapers in the UK suffering from e-cigarette, or vaping, product use associated lung injury (Evali).
Vapekit boasts a small, dedicated team operating from a modern warehouse in Sutton, Surrey. The business is led by Managing Director, Guy Lawler, a veteran of numerous internet businesses having launched his first online venture in 1999. Guy, like many in the vape industry, got involved having finally managed to quit smoking. This was with the help of a Kanger Top Evod (remember those?) and Ice Menthol by Vampire Vape. Like so many others, he had tried every quitting method there was - gum, patches, sprays, self-help books etc – none worked.
Seeing the tremendous potential to help free people from the clutches of the Big Tobacco companies, Guy came on board to spread the word and, hopefully, help others to quit. When you first hear the statistic that 50% of smokers will die of a smoking-related illness, that figure really hits home. Imagine, if you went to work every morning, knowing that your efforts would contribute to the death of half of your customers! Pretty chilling stuff.
Incidentally, Guy no longer vapes as he doesn’t feel the need. Some people see that as a poor advert for the products we sell, but we see it as quite the opposite. The whole point of vaping is to break the cycle of dependence on cigarettes - which all smokers know is incredibly hard to do. If you can use vaping as an effective means to quit smoking, you can then gradually reduce your nicotine strength over time. Eventually, you just don’t feel like you need a hit anymore. This sounds like a pretty perfect outcome to us.

We do our best to process orders as quickly as possible. Our fulfilment team are a nimble-fingered and enthusiastic bunch who leap on orders with indecent haste as soon as they are submitted. If you have explored our delivery information, you will know that we endeavour to despatch all orders placed prior to 4pm Monday-Friday on the same day. After our team has worked their magic, we are reliant on our carriers to work theirs.
Royal Mail are both our greatest strength, and our greatest weakness. Although many people are critical of Royal Mail, this organisation is, for the most part, a truly incredible resource and delivers an amazing service. During busy periods such as Christmas (and pandemics, we now realise) Royal Mail does struggle to maintain the same great levels of service and then customers can become frustrated.
We want to assure you that we process your orders like clockwork each day, and if we could bring them round to your house, we would - but we don’t quite have the resources for that. We are forced to rely on third parties to complete the final piece of every vaping puzzle.

We do our very best to answer all your queries, and to resolve any issues you may have. You will find that we are a friendly and helpful bunch.
