The European Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) stipulates that all e liquids containing nicotine sold in the EU must be notified to a designated authority - the Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in the UK - and emissions tested. The UK has now left the EU, but the regulations regarding the sale of e liquids remain unchanged. Notified products are each assigned a European Community Identification (ECID) Number. Each version (nicotine strength) of an e liquid is treated as a separate product.
The ECID number must be printed on the packaging of the product. The notification, testing and identification of e liquids has been introduced to improve safety and to enable consumers to check that the products they are purchasing are genuine and have been tested. Vapekit is brilliant but Again 10 Motives products let the site down. I ordered as i needed to replace a battery, it holds less charge than my old battery. This is down to the quality of 10 Motives. I wish i could find an alternative, I have become accustomed to their menthol cartridges.
